Dearest Family and Friends!I just wanted to send you a quick reminder that Team Peregrine's Posse will be participating for its second year in the Wayne Township Relay for Life on June 1 - 2. We had a great time last year and have hopes of bettering our donations this year!And naturally I'm here to tell you how you can help... Short and sweet - there are several ways you can donate:
1. Purchase a luminaria bag In Memory Of or In Honor Of a loved one who has died from or who has survived cancer (in any of its forms). The bag is $10. The team will decorate it with your loved one's name on it and any other pertinent info you want us to include. These bags are then filled with sand & a tea light and placed around the Relay track - at dusk all the bags are lit and the names are read aloud. It's quite beautiful! Just email me if you'd like to purchase a luminaria.
2. You can make a donation directly to my Relay website: http://www.acsevents.org/relay /in/waynetownship/aibrean
3. Come walk with us and be part of Team Peregrine's Posse! We have to have at least one team member on the track during the 24 hours of the relay, so the more the merrier!
4. Stop by the Relay and visit our tent! We'll have afforadable items for sale - as will all the tents. This is a community event - it's for everyone to enjoy! And if you don't live in Indy, I encourage you to check out the Relay in your neighborhood!Thanks for all the support you've given me in the past - it really means more than I can tell you!
