I'm Still Here

I haven't posted in ages, it seems... but my focus has been elsewhere -- mostly on trying to become an "athlete," as my nutritionist calls it. She has very high expectations on my fitness!! But I see her point of view, and I'm really trying to make fitness part of my every day thought -- not an afterthought or worse, something I-don't-get-around-to-doing-and-make-myself-feel-guilty-about-thought!

So, I joined the brand, spankin' new Health Center at the University and have made an effort to go every morning that I go in to work. It's tough to get up and get moving in the morning, but so far I haven't once blown it off... I'm hoping after a month now it's become habit!

I'm also trying to focus on getting some writing done, which is easier said than done. But I've got a few places to check out that want the type of fiction I write -- but I also need something polished an ready to go. My novel on Maid Marian is coming along well, but it's still got a ways to go -- I really need to work hard on it to get it finished sooner rather than later!

So that's all from my world. Just trying to keep my head above water as usual!
