I saw this article on CNN.com today that made me want to shout for joy! Scientists may have identified a marker for ovarian cancer -- it's not a cure yet, but it's a step in the right direction!

And, ladies, make your appointment for your yearly exams today. Ovarian cancer isn't usually detected through a PAP and pelvic exam, but if you know your body you're more likely to know when something isn't right. We all have to be our own advocates when it comes to our health -- don't put it off! :-)
